Our Commitment

Momentum Project Group is committed to respecting the privacy of clients, employees, consultants, contractors and other people with whom we interact.

We manage personal information responsibly, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), including the Australian Privacy Principles where applicable, and other applicable legal and contractual obligations. Management is responsible for supporting these commitments and ensuring employees handle information appropriately.

Information we collect

In providing project management and development management services, we may collect names, contact details, employment or professional details, financial and payment information, correspondence, and information needed to administer projects or provide services.

We generally collect information directly from the person concerned, a client, consultant or supplier, or through business communications and project systems.

How information is used and disclosed

We collect and use information for legitimate business purposes, including project delivery, communication, consultant and supplier coordination, contract administration, accounting and compliance.

We may share information with authorised employees, clients, consultants, contractors, professional advisers, regulators and approved service providers where reasonably necessary, authorised or required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and protection

Information may be stored in authorised electronic business systems and, where applicable, secure physical records.

We take reasonable steps to protect it against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. Access is limited to people with a legitimate business need. Records are retained and securely disposed of in accordance with applicable obligations and company procedures.

Access, correction and complaints

Individuals may contact the Director to request access to or correction of personal information held about them, subject to applicable law. Privacy concerns or complaints may also be raised with the Director using the contact details below.

We will review complaints fairly and respond within a reasonable period. Where applicable, individuals may also contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at http://www.oaic.gov.au.

Privacy incidents

Suspected loss, misuse or unauthorised disclosure of personal information must be promptly reported to management.

MPG will assess incidents and take appropriate steps to contain and respond to them, including notifications under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme where legally required.

Policy availability and review

This policy is available on request and may be made accessible through MPG’s website.

It will be reviewed periodically and updated when relevant legal requirements or information-handling practices change.

Our policy is to provide a safe work environment that protects the health, safety and welfare of employees, visitors and other persons at our premises and at work sites.

Commitment

• Comply with ISO 45001, legal requirements and other requirements placed upon the organisation or to which the organisation subscribes
• Establish and maintain measurable objectives and targets with the aim of eliminating work related incidents, risks, injury or illness, and achieving continual improvement, in line with the strategic direction
• Defining and supporting roles and responsibilities for occupational health and safety, and ensuring required resources are available
• Ensure that purchased equipment and materials meet required standards and do not compromise health or safety
• Monitor, inspect, measure and report the effectiveness of our health and safety programs, in consultation and participation with employees
• Consult with service providers to comply with our occupational health and safety requirements and provide relevant documentation confirming such.

Objectives and targets

• Ensure that health and safety management principles are included in all business activities
• Understand and implement hazard identification and risk assessment practices
• Provide ongoing education and training to all of our employees
• Consult with employees and other parties to improve decision-making in health and safety
• Ensure incidents are promptly investigated and causes are corrected and prevented from reoccurring
• Distribute health and safety information, including this policy, to all employees and interested parties to communicate the importance of and facilitating conformance to our requirements
• Provide sufficient resources to ensure health and safety is a central to our workplace
• Ensure effective injury management and rehabilitation is provided to all employees
• Achieve zero injuries and harm to all personnel.

At all times the company will maintain health and safety as a priority and will not knowingly demand or expect any person to participate in any activities which are likely to be detrimental to their health or safety.
